How do I apply to become an ASYCUDA World user?

The ASYCUDA World registration form is available for download on the St. Kitts-Nevis Customs website at www.skncustoms.com and clicking the tab at the top of the home page labeled ASYCUDA World.

How do I receive training for using ASYCUDA World?

The applicant should contact the ASYCUDA team via email at asycuda@skncustoms.com or sknasycuda@gmail.com to arrange the requested training schedule.

Are there documents and manuals available to assist with the use of ASYCUDA World?

What is an XML?

XML stands for Extensible Markuo Language that defines a set of rules for encoding documents in a format that can be read by ASYCUDA.

Where can i find guidelines for preparing an XML manifest or XML declaration for ASYCUDA?

Is there any possibility for ASYCUDA to reject an XML file? What are the reasons behind it?

Yes, there is a possibility to reject an XML file by ASYCUDA if the following is incorrect: A) manifest XML structure, B)manifest Schema File C) B/L Schema File D) Valid reference codes.

What are the valid reference codes?

These codes are available on our website at http://skncustoms.com/Asycuda_Codes.aspx. The codes are country codes, location codes, office codes, etc.

How can i submit an XML file for a manifest?

Log in to your ASYCUDA account. Under cargo manifest, expand XML integration and select Full Cargo.

Why should an office code be used in ASYCUDA World manifest?

Office code is used in ASYCUDA World manifest to determine which office the manifest is being processed.

What types of data should be use in place of departure?

Last port of call (port code of departure port) code should be used in place of departure.

How do I register a manifest?

The manifest must be uploaded or manually inputted by the carrier agent into ASYCUDA World and stored. After being stored the manifest can now be register by the Carrier Agent.

How can I do a degroupage without a manifest being registered?

Using the following identities any pre-arrival activities can be performed: a) Office Code b) Voyage Number c) Date of Departure

Who can submit the Master Bill and House Bill?

The Carrier Agent can submit the Master Bill & House Bill. Consolidators can submit a House Bill against a Master Bill.

I am trying to assess my Declaration and the system is returning an error: "Bill of Lading has not been validated".

Inform the Carrier or Consolidator of the error and request that the Bill of Lading be validated.

I am trying to assess my Declaration and the system is returning an error: "goods weight in the items is different than goods weight in the container".

The weight of the packages in the container tab must be equal to the total gross weight of the goods on the Declaration. Enter the weight figure into the goods weight field within the Declaration container tab.

When can a consolidator submit a House Bill?.

As long as the Master Bill is stored into ASYCUDA World by the carrier agent, consolidators can submit House Bill against the Master Bill before registration of the manifest.

What is the Nature of a Bill?

Nature is used to determine whether a Bill of Lading carries : Import/Export/Transit/Transshipment cargo.

Total items value is greater than declared total?

Verify that item value total adds up to total in Value Note tab.

Bill of Lading already written off?

Verify that you are using the correct Bill of Lading.If a Pre-Release was given, contact the station supervisor where the goods were released to do an excess and shortage.

Agreement does not match company?

Ensure that the company and goods being declared are entitled for concession.

Not enough packages available?

Verify that the number of packages on Bill of Lading matches number of packages used on declaration.

Why is the Agent Release needed to clear my cargo?

The Agent release verifies that freight and any other charges were paid to the Carrier.

Incorrect taxes are populating on the assessment notice?

How can I improve my ASYCUDA performance?

a) Ensure you have a stable and fast internet connection b) If your scan PDF document does not upload, ensure it is equal or less than 500kb and the file name does not contain any funny characters (e.g. $, %, #, @, <>) else delete the scan document and re-upload. c) Clear your cache properly before logging on.
