Boarding Office

Steps:

Upon arrival into the Federation, the captain of the vessel must proceed immediately to the Customs Boarding Office to check in.
At the boarding office, the captain is required to produce:
a) A clearance Certificate from the last Port/Country visited.
b) Crew and/or Passenger list with passports.
c) All vessel documentation including vessel specification for verification by the customs officer.
During Step 2, only the captain is required to be present. The crew and/or passengers must remain on board the vessel until it is cleared by the customs.

Restrictions:

If there are animals/pets on board they must not leave the vessel with out the permission from the Government Veterinary Office.
No cargo should be discharged without permission from the customs officer.

NB: (all dollars quoted in EC dollars)

Yachts leaving seven(7) days after date of entry and outside the hours of 8:00am and 4:00 p.m. or weekends will attract an additional fee of $10.00.

There is also a minimal fee that is payable to the Port Authority. The Captain is required to pay that fee to their representative.
